Museums & Libraries
The Texas Energy Council (TEC) actively promotes energy education by partnering with oil and gas museums to provide students with hands-on learning experiences. Through these partnerships, TEC helps museums develop interactive exhibits, educational programs, and guided tours that align with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. By connecting students with the history, technology, and future of the energy industry, these collaborations enhance classroom learning and inspire interest in energy-related careers. TEC also supports museum-hosted events, scholarships, and outreach initiatives, ensuring that students gain a deeper understanding of the vital role energy plays in Texas and beyond.
