2025 Scholarships

Are you considering a CAREER in the  ENERGY INDUSTRY? 

SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE in MANY ENERGY DISCIPLINES!!

Texas Energy Council is offering one-year scholarships up to $3,000.00 in energy-related fields including (but not limited to):

• GEOLOGY

• GEOPHYSICS

• ENGINEERING

• GEOCHEMISTRY

• ENERGY ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

• ENERGY LAW

• LAND MANAGEMENT

You must: 

• Be an undergraduate or master's level attending a 2 year & 4 year accredited Texas college or university for Fall 2025 / Spring 2026.  PhD candidates are not being considered at this time

• Have at least 30 hours of college-level credit;

• Have a GPA of not less than 3.25/4.00 in the college-level classes

Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously won this award, but previous winners are welcome to apply
